Several passengers of ailing airliner Mandala Airlines in Yogyakarta found the airline counter at Adisucipto Airport was closed on Thursday.

“Ticket refunds will be transferred [to passengers] from the headquarters in Jakarta within 45 days,” an announcement posted at the counter read, according to metrotvnews.com.

Several would-be passengers who visited the Mandala Airlines representative office on Jl. Suryotomo, Yogyakarta, also returned home empty handed because the customer service officers were only able to note their ticket numbers, prices and bank account details.

One Mandala customer, Sofie, said she was disappointed with the long refund process.
Previously, Mandala announced that for 45 days, starting Thursday (Jan.13), Mandala Airlines will officially stop flying as its company enters a restructuring phase.
